Chocolate Icing 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 pound margarine
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • hot milk
  • Chocolate Nut Squares
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 3/4 cups pecans or walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup cocoanut flaked
  • 4 ounces chocolate morsels chopped

Directions:
Beat 1/2 cup margarine and 1/4 cup sugar until creamy. Blend in flour. Press on bottom of un-greased 9” x 9” x 2” baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. Heat 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup margarine and heavy cream in saucepan, stirring until spread melt and is blended. Stir in nuts and set aside. Sprinkle coconut and chocolate over crust. Top with nut mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cook, cut into squares.
