Jelly Nut Cookies
Makes 48 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 5 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla. Add flour.
Roll into 1’ balls. Dip into beaten egg whites. Roll in chopped walnuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Depress center of cookie with finger. Fill depression with grape jelly.
Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
