Keflie - Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces unsalted butter softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • Confectioners sugar
  • Prune or apricot filling

Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and mix. Add egg and mix. Add flour and mix until incorporated. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill overnight. Roll on work surface sprinkled with confectioner’s sugar until 1/4” thick. Cut and roll. Place in refrigerator until oven preheats. Bake at 350 degrees- bottom tray/7 minutes; turn, top tray/7 minutes.
