Oatmeal Cookies - Chewy
Makes 36 servings.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- I egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup walnuts chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
mix dry ingredients together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add oats and dry ingredients. Add raisins and walnuts.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet by tablespoonfuls. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
