Pea Soup
Makes 8 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound dried peas
- 3 quarts water
- I onion chopped fine
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 2 1/2 cups carrots cubed
- 4 cups ham cubes
Directions:
Cook peas, water, celery and onions for 4 hours or longer. Strain soup. Add carrots. Cook slowly for 15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Add ham cubes. Cook until hot.
