Pecan Chews
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 4 egg fork beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups pecans finely chopped
- 4 cups flour
Directions:
Melt butter, add brown sugar. Mix and cool. Add eggs, mix. Add salt, baking soda, vanilla and nuts, mix well. Add flour and mix well.
Form dough into walnut size balls. Place on greased cookie sheet, 12 to a sheet. Press down with greased spatula. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet two minutes, then on wire rack.
