Ingredients:
- 3 pounds stew meat
- 12 medium potato
- 2 rib celery
- parsley
- 2 pounds carrot
- 1 large onion
Directions:
Brown beef in pot for 1/2 hour. Par boil potatoes with salt; par boil carrots with 2 teaspoons sugar. Combine beef cubes in pot with beef brownings, cover with water and simmer one hour. Add salt and pepper, potatoes, carrots, whole celery rib, whole onion, cover with water and simmer for one 1/2 hours. Remove celery and onion. Thicken with flour.
