Tomato And Cheese Pie
Makes 12 servings.
Ingredients:
- 6 tomato peeled, seeded
- 2 tablespoons basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons chives
- 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 2 cups gouda cheese grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
- 1 pie crust unbaked
Directions:
bake the pie crust in bottom 1/3 of 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. slice tomatoes 1/3 inch. layer on bottom of crust.
sprinkle with basil, chives, salt and pepper. combine the mayonnaise and cheeses. spread into pie crust. bake at 400
degrees for 30-35 minutes until brown on top.
